How we handle it
Refrigerators, freezers and AC units hold refrigerant that has to be recovered before the metal is scrapped. We take them to recyclers who handle that, so you don't have to worry about where it ends up.
We bring appliance dollies and straps, protect your floors and door frames, and can disconnect a standard washer or dryer. Gas lines and hard-wired units should be shut off by a pro before we arrive.
Refrigerator removal
Old fridges and freezers are hauled to recyclers who recover the refrigerant before the steel is scrapped. Empty it and let it defrost the night before.
Washer and dryer removal
We disconnect standard washers and electric dryers, cap the hoses and carry them out. Gas dryers need the gas shut off by a pro first.
Stove and oven removal
Electric ranges come out the same day. Gas stoves need the gas line capped by a licensed pro before we arrive.

Do you disconnect appliances?
We can unplug and disconnect standard washers and dryers. Gas stoves, gas dryers and hard-wired units need to be shut off by a licensed pro first.
Does the fridge need to be empty?
Yes, please empty it and let it defrost if you can. A full fridge is heavy and leaks on the way out.
What happens to old appliances?
They go to metal recyclers. Anything with refrigerant goes to a facility that recovers it before scrapping.
How much does it cost?
